The 2018 Timber Towns Wine Show was a great success.
Thanks must go to the very impressive judging panel who spent so much time tasting each wine and discussing the merits of all wines judged. The judges were Rob Geddes ,Chief Judge, with Erin Larkin and Rachael Niall completing the judging panel. The associate judges were Andrew Dawson and Alice York and they also contributed greatly to the tasting discussions.
Thanks to all judges for a fantastic effort and for their very positive comments at the Award Dinner. Of the 122 wines entered 16 were awarded a Gold Medal, 29 Silver Medals and 40 Bronze Medals. Pemberley of Pemberton Wines were presented with Wine of the Show, as well as Best Red Wine of Show, for their 2016 Pinot Noir with Whimwood Estate Wines awarded Best White Wine of Show for their 2016 Chardonnay and Silkwood Wines once again taking out Most Successful Overall Exhibitor.
